Our client, a leading plaintiff firm, subpoenaed various third parties for additional documents in their litigation. Some of the parties turned over everything to the plaintiff, but one third party was very concerned about turning over non-relevant materials.
The party was concerned about receiving review and production support from the plaintiff’s case team.
Our Solution: Project Management Support for Third-Party Privacy Concerns
To solve this concern, Repario’s project management pod Team Andromeda coordinated with another separate PM pod Team Rover to provide project management support for the third party to alleviate privacy and confidentiality concerns. Team Rover managed the collection, processing, and ECA pieces of the third party’s workflow resulting in a review universe of ~25,000 documents.
Adding to the challenge, the third party’s attorney was a single practitioner who would not be able to review 25,000 documents in a timely manner. Repario Consulting and Managed Review services were introduced to assist with finalizing the production and deliver it to the primary PM pod Team Andromeda for the Plaintiff’s review.
The Results: Documents Received and Deadlines Met
Cross team collaboration success and the introduction of the Repario Consulting and Managed Review service line helped the client meet their needs and deadlines. The original introduction for the Third-Party team helped create additional opportunities to provide additional Document Review consulting services to the Plaintiff team relating to search term and duplicate comparison.
